Salted Chocolate And Pistachio Crickets

Today I made crickets dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with pistachios, they tasted great! I bought the crickets at Freshchoice supermarket. You need non-poisonous crickets to make it.
Yum!

  1. Kia ora Heath. Well.....I really like salted chocolate and pistachios....but I am not very sure about the crickets!! Was this a new taste experience for you or have you made these before? If we were at school and you brought one in to share - I would probably taste it! What other insects could you dip in chocolate and cover in nuts??

    1. Well... they taste like chocolate and are crunchy, I have never tasted them before, but you could do the same thing with tarantulas, grasshoppers and locusts.
